Mega Evolution is back on the Pokémon TCG. On 22 May 2026, Chaos Rising drops, and it’'s the biggest set in a while built around Mega Evolution Pokémon-ex.
Pokémon’'s line on it: “the city’'s excitement turns to chaos.” In practice, players will be fighting over the chase cards.
Cards to watch
Four Mega-ex are already on the marketing reel:
- Mega Floette-ex is the one stirring trouble in the streets.
- Mega Greninja-ex brings the crew along, including Mega Heliolisk-ex and Mega Dragalge-ex.
- On the promo side, expect Phantump, Ampharos, Noivern, and Whiscash.
If you collect Mega, this is probably the densest 2026 set on the mechanic.
