1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Snag, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which constitute a legally binding End User Licence Agreement (EULA) between you and Snag, Inc. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our application.

2. Description of Service

Snag is a live shopping platform that enables sellers to broadcast live and buyers to discover and purchase products during live sessions. The platform includes user-generated content such as live streams, chat messages, product listings, and profile information.

3. User-Generated Content & Zero-Tolerance Policy

Snag has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. You agree not to post, stream, or transmit any content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory
• Is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit
• Promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activities
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Contains spam, scams, or fraudulent content
• Constitutes hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
• Impersonates another person or entity

Violations may result in immediate content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban without prior notice. We may also report violations to law enforcement when required.

4. Content Moderation

Snag actively moderates user-generated content to maintain a safe community. Our moderation includes:

• Automated filtering: Messages and content are screened in real time for prohibited material
• User reporting: Any user can report objectionable content or abusive behaviour directly in the app
• Human review: Reported content is reviewed by our trust and safety team
• Blocking: Users can block any other user to prevent further contact and hide their content

5. Reporting Objectionable Content

If you encounter content or behaviour that violates these Terms, you can report it directly within the Snag app by using the Report button available on any live stream, message, or user profile. Reports are anonymous and reviewed by our team within 24 hours. You may also contact us directly at support@snag.live.

6. Blocking Users

You can block any user at any time from their profile, from a live stream, or from a direct message. Blocked users will not be able to contact you, see your content, or appear in your feed. You can manage your blocked users list from your profile settings.

7. User Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to use Snag.

8. Transactions and Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Snag acts as an intermediary between buyers and sellers via Stripe Connect. Applicable fees will be clearly indicated before each transaction.

9. Intellectual Property

Snag and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Snag, Inc. and its licensors. By submitting content to Snag, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content within the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

Snag shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service, including any user-generated content encountered on the platform.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
